> Noise Monitoring
To assess the environmental
noise impact of an industrial process or construction activity,
generally a baseline survey is carried out when no construction
activity is taking place to establish the ambient normal background
noise levels. Whilst construction activity is taking place a further
monitoring period is then carried out to ascertain the impact
that the activity is having. Gregory Environmental can provide
complete monitoring solutions to cover baseline and working
situations.
Noise and vibration issues relating to construction and industry
are becoming more and more of a concern for companies, the public,
local authorities and the Environment Agency. Society is becoming
more and more litigious and people are becoming increasingly aware
of their rights and hence more irritated by infringements on their
lives. This has led to greater regulation by Local Authorities
and the Environment Agency.
