Services > Ecological Studies

Most construction activites that impact on the local ecology require a preliminary ecological study to ascertain the flora and fauna present, if species are present that are on the Environment Agency under threat list, then mitigation measures will be required. These can include:

> construction of egress for animals from sites
> transrelocation of fauna or fauna to a remote location
> construction of new suitable habitats locally
> measures to limit access for animals to site
> construction of animal tunnelsto allow animal movements
> removal of fauna from affected habitats
