Ecological Studies

Most construction activites that impact on the local ecology require a preliminary ecological study to ascertain the flora and fauna present, if species are present that are on the Environment Agency under threat list, then mitigation measures will be required. These can include:

bulletconstruction of egress for animals from sites
bullettransrelocation of fauna or fauna to a remote location
bulletconstruction of new suitable habitats locally
bulletmeasures to limit access for animals to site
bulletconstruction of animal tunnels (as in the photo above) to allow animal movements
bulletremoval of fauna from affected habitats (as shown in the left photo below)

Gregory Environmental also provides aftercare for construction projects to ensure that environments are reinstated to their original state.
